We delete every uploaded CV within 30 days of upload, automatically. If you want it gone sooner — or you want a copy of everything we hold about you — here's how.
To delete a specific submission
Email hi@glowmycv.com from the same address you used to submit, with the subject line Delete my CV. We'll confirm deletion within 24 hours.
Optional but helpful: include the rough date of your submission and the filename you uploaded. That helps us locate the right file fast, especially if you've submitted more than once.
What we delete
- The file you uploaded (the PDF or DOCX).
- The metadata sidecar — your email, brief, target role and company, our reviewer's notes, and the status.
- Any cached text extractions of the file.
What we keep
- An anonymized record that a submission existed at a given date. No PII. This is used for billing reconciliation and to enforce the automatic-refund SLA. It cannot be used to identify you.
- Standard server access logs (IP + timestamp) for up to 90 days, per our hosting provider's defaults. These cannot be used to retrieve your CV.

Email hi@glowmycv.com with the subject line Data access request. We'll respond within 30 days with a downloadable bundle.
Why this isn't a one-click button (yet)
We don't have customer accounts. If we let anyone enter any email address and trigger deletion through the site, someone could delete another person's CV. A magic-link deletion flow is on the roadmap — for now, email-based confirmation is the secure path. We're committed to a 24-hour turnaround on every request.
